Greggs Summer Menu 2026: All the New Items You Need to Try Right Now
“When Greggs drops a new menu, I try to check it the same day mostly. The Summer 2026 update is probably the most health-forward one I’ve seen, but don’t worry — the good stuff is still very much there.”

🍋 What’s the Big Deal with the Greggs Summer 2026 Menu?

Greggs officially rolled out its Summer 2026 menu on 07th May 2026, and it’s clearly been designed with two types of people in mind: those wanting lighter, fresher options and those who just want a great new snack. The lineup leans heavily into salads, pasta pots and grain bowls — a real shift from the brand’s traditionally pastry-heavy identity.

The move is no accident. Greggs CEO Roisin Currie confirmed that the growing use of weight-loss medications has nudged customers towards smaller portions and lighter meals. So the brand’s responded — and honestly, the new items look genuinely tasty, not just “healthy for the sake of it.”

📅

Launch Date: 7 May 2026

All new summer items are available in Greggs shops nationwide and via delivery through Just Eat and Uber Eats. Mini Sausage Rolls are available at selected shops in Scotland and the south east only.

💚 Why Greggs Is Going Healthier in 2026

This summer refresh isn’t random. Greggs has been making a calculated push towards health-conscious eating, and the Summer 2026 menu is the clearest sign of that yet.

🤝

Greggs × Nesta Partnership

Greggs has partnered with the research foundation Nesta to develop a way of measuring the healthiness of food sales — and has committed to improving that score by 2030. It’s a proper long-term commitment, not just a seasonal stunt.

All the new pasta pots, salads and grain bowls sit within Greggs’ Balanced Choice range — meaning they contain 400 calories or less and score mostly green or amber on the Food Standards Agency’s traffic light nutrition system.

🏆 My Honest Verdict

Greggs Summer 2026 feels like the most thoughtfully put-together seasonal menu in a while. The fresh pastas and grain bowls aren’t watered-down “diet food” — they look genuinely delicious and the price point is going to be, as always, very hard to argue with.

For me, the Mango & Passion Fruit Doughnut is the fun pick of the summer, while the Chicken, Grains & Greens Bowl is probably going to become my go-to weekday lunch. The Mini Sausage Rolls are a brilliant shout for sharing — once they roll out nationwide, I reckon they’ll be everywhere.
