Sweet Treats

No trip to Greggs really feels complete without a quick look at the sweet treats counter — and it’s safe to say this is the hardest section to walk past.

The Glazed Ring Doughnut is the simple classic: £1.20 for 58g and 213 kcal, making it one of the lowest-calorie treats on the entire menu. The Jam Doughnut comes in slightly cheaper at £1.15 (76g, 236 kcal), giving you a bit more bun for a similar price.

For something heartier, the Belgian Bun has been a favourite for years — a soft, currant-studded bun finished with icing and a cherry, priced at £1.40 for 116g and 374 kcal. It’s one of the higher-calorie options here, but it remains one of the best-loved.

Elsewhere on the shelf, the Yum Yum two-pack (120g, 600 kcal) costs just £1.20 — handy to know if you’re counting calories, as it’s higher than it looks for the price. There’s also the Triple Chocolate Muffin, Caramel Shortbread, Cream Éclair and Pink Jammie Doughnut, all priced between £1.40 and £1.65 at standard stores.

If you fancy something lighter, the Apple & Strawberry Fruit Pot (90g, just 43 kcal) and the Fat Free Greek Style Yoghurt with Strawberry Compote (150g, 114 kcal) sit quietly among the doughnuts and buns, offering a genuinely low-calorie option for £1.50–£1.95.

As always, prices nudge up by around 10–20p in city and London branches, and by 20–50p at airport and motorway sites. Most doughnuts, buns and biscuits here fall between 185 and 375 kcal, so they’re best treated as a treat alongside a meal rather than a meal in themselves. We check and update these prices and calorie figures regularly, so this page reflects the latest 2026 menu.
